Legion PvP Rules

Play hard, raid harder, and don't cheat. Everything below applies on every Legion realm. The Season 1 payout terms are in the second half of this page.

Java & Bedrock  ·  play.legionpvp.net

The short version

Factions is a game about raiding, betrayal and outbuilding your enemies. Almost everything that happens inside the game is fair play. What is never fair play is anything that happens outside the game.

Allowed
  • Raiding and cannoning any base, any time.
  • Insiding. Joining a faction to rob it is part of the game.
  • In-game trades and scams for in-game items only.
  • Trapping, camping and killing anywhere outside spawn.
  • Alliances, spies and betrayal between factions.
Banned
  • Hacked clients, macros or auto-clickers. Anything that plays for you.
  • Exploits, dupes and bug abuse. Report them, don't use them.
  • Alt accounts used to boost a faction, dodge a ban or farm rewards.
  • Real-money trading of in-game items, accounts or prize shares.
  • DDoS, doxxing, threats or harassment of any player or staff member.

Server rules

These apply to every player on every realm: Arcana, Practice, Dungeons and the Hub.

  1. No cheating. Hacked clients, X-ray, macros, auto-clickers, reach or velocity mods, and any modification that gives an advantage a vanilla client does not have. Allowed mods: performance, minimap without cave or entity view, and cosmetic mods only.
  2. No exploiting. Duplication glitches, unintended mechanics, plugin bugs and economy abuse. If something feels too good to be true, report it in Discord. Using it gets your gains removed and your account banned.
  3. One person, one account. Alts used to grow a faction's member count, store value, dodge a punishment, or collect rewards twice are banned along with the main account.
  4. No real-money trading. Do not buy, sell or trade in-game items, Galleons, accounts, ranks or prize money outside the official store. Chargebacks on store purchases are a permanent ban.
  5. No IRL harm. DDoS attempts, threats, doxxing, harassment, hate speech and targeting anyone outside the game. Zero tolerance, permanent ban, no appeal.
  6. Respect the chat. Trash talk and rivalry are fine. Slurs, spam, advertising other servers, and impersonating staff are not.
  7. Staff decisions are final in the moment. If you think a punishment is wrong, appeal at applications.legionpvp.net. Arguing in chat gets you muted, not unbanned.
  8. Spawn is safe, everything else is not. Inside spawn nobody can hit you. Outside it, including the warzone, anyone can kill you at any time. Combat-tagged players cannot enter spawn.
  9. Claims stop players, not physics. A claim keeps enemies from building, breaking and opening chests. It does not stop cannons or explosions. Protect your loot with obsidian and water, not with the claim.
  10. Don't break the world. Lag machines, entity farms built to crash the server, and deliberately unloading chunks mid-raid are punishable. Redstone farms are fine; abuse is not.

Faction rules

  1. Max 30 members per faction, real players only.
  2. Insiding is allowed. If you invite someone and they rob you, that is on you. Set faction permissions and ranks carefully.
  3. Raiding is allowed 24/7. There is no raid schedule, no grace period after a raid, and no rule against raiding a smaller faction.
  4. Cannon and wither limits are enforced by the server, not by rules. If the server lets you do it, it is allowed. If it doesn't, don't try to get around it.
  5. No claim exploiting. Claiming to block a cannon box mid-raid, or using unclaimed chunks to bypass mechanics, is bug abuse.
  6. Faction names and descriptions follow the chat rules. Offensive names are renamed or disbanded.
  7. Staff members may play in factions, but any faction with a staff member is not eligible for season prizes.

Season 1 payout rules

The top factions on /f top at the end of Season 1 win real money. The full prize list is on rewards.legionpvp.net. Read this before you grind.

Season startMap release — Sat 22 Aug 2026
Season endTo be announced · 14 days notice
Final snapshotAt the announced end time, to the minute
  1. How the winner is decided. Faction value on /f top at the exact moment the season ends. Value is the total worth of priced blocks and spawners inside your claims. Nothing in chests, ender chests, inventories or the auction house counts.
  2. The snapshot is final. Staff take the leaderboard at the announced end time and post it in Discord within the hour. What happens after that moment does not count. Get raided one minute before the end and lose your spawners, that is factions.
  3. Ties. If two factions have identical value, the faction that reached that value first wins. Faction value history is logged every 15 minutes.
  4. Who gets paid. The faction leader at the moment of the snapshot. The leader decides how the prize is split inside the faction. Legion does not mediate splits and pays each prize once.
  5. Eligibility. Every member of a winning faction must be a real, individual person with one account. Factions containing staff members, alternate accounts, or any account banned for cheating, exploiting or alting during the season are disqualified and the prize passes to the next faction down.
  6. Legitimate value only. Value gained through a bug, dupe, exploit, staff item or any method staff decide was not legitimate play is removed before the snapshot. Serious cases disqualify the whole faction.
  7. Minimum activity. A winning faction must have at least 3 unique members with 10 hours of playtime each during the season. This stops a single person banking a prize with a solo faction and alts.
  8. Claiming the prize. The leader must be in the Legion Discord and reply to staff within 7 days of the snapshot. Prizes are paid by PayPal within 14 days of verification. If the leader cannot be reached in 7 days the prize passes to the next eligible faction.
  9. Age. Winners under 18 are paid to a parent or guardian who confirms they are the guardian. We will never pay a minor directly.
  10. No purchase necessary. Nothing on the store counts toward faction value. Ranks, kits, crate keys and cosmetics do not change /f top. Every faction competes on what it builds, kills and steals in game.
  11. Taxes and fees. Any taxes or transfer fees on the prize are the winner's responsibility. Prizes are paid in US dollars.
  12. Staff discretion. Legion PvP staff make the final decision on eligibility, disqualification and disputes. Decisions are posted in Discord with the reason.
  13. Changes. These rules may be clarified during the season. Prize amounts will not be reduced once announced. Any change is posted in Discord and on this page with the date.

Questions

Does buying a rank help me win?

No. Nothing on the store adds faction value. Ranks give cosmetics, kits and convenience. Faction value is blocks and spawners in your claims, and spawners are earned in game.

Can Bedrock players win?

Yes. Bedrock players join the same Arcana world through play.legionpvp.net and compete on the same leaderboard.

What if our leader quits mid-season?

Whoever holds leader at the snapshot is paid. Transfer leadership before someone leaves. Legion cannot move a payout to another member after the fact.

Can we make an alliance and split the prize?

You can ally in game all you want. Only one faction can hold each position on /f top, and only that faction's leader is paid. What they do with it is up to them.

We got raided right before the end. Do we get anything?

Only what the snapshot shows. Defending your value through the final hours is the whole point of the season.

How do I know the leaderboard is legit?

/f top updates every 15 minutes in game, the hologram at spawn shows it, and the Discord bot mirrors it every 3 hours. The final snapshot is posted publicly with every faction's value.
